This is my first time trying any kind of Tallow balm. The smell from this one is divine. I warm a small amount in my hand until it turns to oil and spread over my skin. I only use a very small amount on my face to start with and this feels enough - it feels luxurious on my skin and thankfully not heavy. My skin must be really dry as it is sinking right in and doesnt feel like ive anything on. Time will tell on the results.
This was absolutely amazing. I used it as aftersun on my daughters after an unexpected day in the sun. Fantastic.
The cream smells good and goes on nicely and seems to hydrates my skin.
Sadly though I didn't realise this was a whipped cream moisturiser so isn't as luxurious or as smoothing as a true balm. Whipped moisturisers need much more product over a balm per application. I'll be sticking with my usual product (AC) from now on as my original lasted 5 months over this one
Love this balm. I am over 60 and my skin is dry, this is very rich and nourishing and only need a small amount. I have tried some other cheaper brands which have been very liquid and watery, this is a thick balm.
I will definately be re-purchasing, and maybe try other products from range.

It leaves an amazing texture on skin. Very moisturizing, soft and easy to spread. Have a nice smell, not strong smell. Will definetely buy again!
I really wanted to love this but my skin doesn't 😕 Maybe a reaction to the essential oils? I have tried other tallow before and loved it, maybe I need to try the unscented version of this brand. Smells amazing (yes it has a hint of beef smell but this is to be expected). I really like the texture and it applies very easily unlike other brands I have tried. Just a shame my skin goes like a tomato!

Another amazing product from the legends at Esca! Keeps my lips so soft for hours without constant reapplying like other lip balms. I have tried so many tallow products (often greasy/farmy smell) and esca beats them all. Amazing non toxic tallow products that smell amazing and make your skin and lips dewy and beautiful!!! I rarely write reviews but cant recommend this brand enough for people with sensitive skin who want to prioritse their health/fertility and stay away from endocrine disrupters :)

The best tallow balm I've tried—absolutely love it!
I am so glad I found this product. It is incredibly light, smells lovely, and is so easy to apply. It absorbs into the skin beautifully and—unlike other brands I’ve tried—it doesn’t clog my pores at all. It feels amazing, is fantastic value for money, and is definitely worth every penny. I will absolutely be buying this again!
Great cream it got rid of my eczema and keeps it away
I suffer with type 1 & 2 Rosacea, have done for 15 years now, in that time I've spent Thousands trying all sorts to varying degrees of success and failure, the only thing I've found that calms a flare up within a couple of days that isn't a harsh prescription, is unscented beef tallow.
Having tried a couple of different brands in the past with varying results, I tried Esca recently and within days it's taken a 7 flare up down to a 2. It seems to be working for me so on that I'll recommend it. The lower the ingredients and being unscented the better. If this continues to work I'll be a repeat customer.
I have suffered with eczema all of my life and more recently my flares have been worse. I’ve read lots about tallow helping to repair skin so thought I’d give it a go. It’s early days but already I can see that the tallow balm instantly soothes and calms my skin as soon as I put it on. I will be ordering more and keeping everything crossed that it continues to keep my eczema under better control going forward.
This immediately soothed red skin after an acne breakout. I put it on before bed and woke up to much clearer skin. It feels light and has a nice smell to it. The ingredients are minimal which is also a bonus.
